Credit Analyst (Multiple Openings) –

Conduct analysis and assessment of financial data and credit by applying statistical analysis and tests in order to determine creditworthiness for borrowing and potential for default; Review and analyze financial analysis findings and generate reports detailing degree of risk and borrowing options; Review and analyze income statement, savings data, debts, major purchase activities to recommend payment plans, budgets, debt reduction plans, and to assist client to meet appropriate loan programs; Compare and explain findings with clients in similar financial/credit scenarios to determine profitably, potential loan terms, potential loan program, etc.; Determine numeric ratios using software or quantitative tools such as Calyx Point, SPSS, SAS, and VBA for evaluating financial and credit status; Determine the best fit loan terms and loan program for each loan scenario; Consult clients to verify financial and credit records and advise on borrowing options and loan terms; Process loan applications including credit analyses and attachments and issue disclosure forms as required by regulatory authorities; Check loan applications for completeness and ensure they are complete, accurate, and meet regulatory requirements; Confer with credit associations and/or other financial institutions to exchange and verify credit information; Contact and coordinate with borrowers, lenders, title and insurance agents, and other involved parties to ensure completeness of the applications and timely close of escrows; Maintain loan-level database including credit information and track records of various loans both traditional and non-traditional to enhance data analysis, promote profitability of loan issuance, and maximize lending potentials; Draft and review monthly performance reports and compliance reports; Maintain and review accounting records and relevant financial documents as audit files; Contribute to the training material using Wiki software; Perform other professional duties as assigned.

Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Full-time. Trustworthy Mortgage Corporation. Vienna, VA. Rate of pay is $96,699 per year.
